Technology - Construction L1
Teacher in Charge: M. Ashford-Beck
This course is offered for those students interested in gaining construction skills and knowledge through designing and making an outdoor furniture product. The course involves practical project work in the technology workshop supported by theory units on workshop safety, hand tools, and selecting materials suitable for an outdoor product. To develop students’ 3D modelling skills, part of their project will need to be designed and made using the school’s new CNC router.
This course can lead to: School based Level 2 and Level 3 construction courses.
