Science at Level 1 splits into two courses: General Science and Agricultural Biology

Students who are considering taking Physics or Chemistry at Levels 2 and 3 should select General Science. This will prepare them to take any of the Sciences at levels 2 and 3, including Biology and Agriculture. Students will take a selection of internal and external standards worth up to 20 credits from the available standards listed below. The standards offered will be on a class by class basis at the discretion of the head of Science, Mr Kurian.

Students who are considering taking Biology or Agriculture at Levels 2 and 3 should select Agricultural Biology. Agricultural Biology will consist of two externally assessed Achievement Standards, with three internally assessed standards. Your options are open in terms of doing Biology or Agricultural at level 2 but not for Physics or Chemistry.

Please ask your year 10 teacher or Mr Kurian for more information.
