Course Description

Teacher in Charge:

This course closely follows the Enterprise New Zealand Trust programme which is to encourage young people to explore the world of enterprise and find out why some people and organisations are successful. Students will complete 2 of 3 projects. (1) Market Day where students work in groups to produce, market and sell a product. (2)The BP Community Challenge, where students choose a non-profit organisation and organise a project up to the value of $1000. (Winners then get the funds to make this happen). Te Aroha College has won this competition for this region for eight of the last nine years. (3) Interview an enterprising person.
