Spanish L3

Course Highlights: This course builds on the foundation established in Level 2, with an increased focus on vocabulary and grammatical development. It continues to enhance the four key language skills—listening, speaking, reading, and writing—through a diverse range of resources and topics. Students will become more confident in interacting with native speakers and will be able to explain and debate their ideas and opinions effectively.

Scholarship in Spanish: Students aiming for a Spanish scholarship are required to demonstrate advanced critical thinking skills. They will respond in both speech and writing to complex written and spoken material in Spanish, adeptly manipulating the language in impromptu contexts.

Vocational Pathway: Creative Industries, Social and Community Services, Services Industries.

This course can lead to: AFS Language Immersion Scholarships to live in a Spanish Country, greater job opportunities in: tourism, commerce, diplomacy, teaching, journalism or any career of your choice.  Knowing Spanish will also help with learning specialist scientific vocabulary.
